Kyra Christmas: "Canada is aiming a medal at Super Final"

Kyra Christmas returns to Greece after one year, but not for Olympiacos this time (She played for the greek club in the 2019-2020 season), but along with the Canadian Women's National Team for the Super Final of the World League, which starts tomorrow Monday (14/7) at the OAKA swimming pool.

The 24-year-old Canadian left-hander told the press office of the event:

"I am happy that we finally rejoined with the National team, after the forced abstention due to COVID-19.I am very excited that this is happening in Greece, where I return after my time at Olympiacos, from where I have pleasant memories.

The Super Final of the World League is expected to be interesting and we - as Canada - aim to climb the podium, winning a medal. As in any event, we are not indifferent. These games are a very good preparation in view of our participation in the Olympic Games.

I also want to say that, from what I have seen so far, before the games start, the organization is excellent. The Olympic facility of Athens is amazing, but the health safety measures (COVID-19) are fully complied with. I feel completely safe".
